all worth it...
so I'm going to Chicago...everyone knows. I joined a secret sister swap. I wasn't sure what to expect. I mailed off my own package late. My secret sister said she was going to be late. Tricia got her package and hated it. Mandy got her package and she put in the questionnaire that she didn't like stamps and that's all she got. Well as the secret sister I had to think of things to send that went with her questionnaire. I wasn't sure. She said she was shabby chic. I emailed her and asked what she was just itching to have right now...well she wrote me back and just said anything. Thanks for the help right. Well I mailed her a making memories frame, some of the jewels, some oak leaves from prima, soft socks, a chocolate cookbook, and made a valentine's mini album out of sweetwater paper. She loved it all and this is what she posted on the CZ message boards:
OK, I seriously needed a pick-me-up today cuz it hasn't been thebest of days (to say the least!).The mailman must have read my mind when he delivered the packagefrom my secret sis!! I feel like I won the secret sis lottery!She sent me a gorgeous handmade card, really soft pink valentinesocks (I LOVE socks, yes it is even an entry in my album!), achocolate recipe book (another one of my faves!), MM vintage hipframe & funky crystal brads that I've been dying to try out. But, totop all of this off, she sent me a BEAUTIFUL, I mean JAW DROPPINGGORGEOUS paper bag album. It is a love theme album that uses greatpapers & has tags and quotes & all sorts of fun embellies, it isjust plain & simply PERFECT. It would make a beautiful gift if Ifilled in the spaces with journaling and photos about loving myhubby or daughter, but I just want to keep it and hold it and lookat it!!! I have no intention of giving this to anyone anytime soon!I am SO grateful for the thought and hard work that went into thisgift. I am really lucky to have such a generous secret sis!Wow, I think this gift even made me ready to face a 3-year oldbirthday party that I'm taking my DD to for one of her "school"friends this afternoon. Now THAT is saying something!!
