Craze

So we got all caught up in the holiday hoopla where the XBOX is concerned. I was out at midnight to two stores trying to find an XBOX. Waiting in line after line only to be turned down. I even saw people sleeping in tents, in line, outside Target waiting for their 8am opening. Can you believe that? I thought man. This is what it was like for my parents looking for the ever elusive Cabbage Patch Doll. In the morning woke up and went to the PX(military mall) and there they were. We got one! So Christmas morning we didn't put it under the tree...my son opens his gifts, which consisted of clothes, board games, DVDs, nothing high dollar. His sister is getting her IPOD....so we ask after everything is opened if he had a good Xmas. His answer-a little...then he goes to the restroom no doubt to cry while we bring out the box, the XBOX. He comes out claiming he's okay and everything is fine, which I'm sure he's wondering where's my effin IPOD and sees he has one more box. And this is what I got...

How sweet it is. He wasn't expecting it. He thought he'd be one of the ones waiting until January to get one. He didn't even ask for it. He had saved his own money for it. Man he must've been thinking that was one big IPOD!! On another note-realized why I get such shadows on my photos....my hand blocks the flash!! Duh!! At least I finally figured it out!! I thought it had to do with lighting and such and it was user fault all along! Whew-I thought my house had bad lighting! In-laws are gone and everything was fine...missed my parents tho'. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I have gained some weight this weekend!
