challenging you...
to post your first scrapbook page-this is mine. I wish someone would have said to me back then,"what are you thinking?" I've cut the pics up and can't believe that I thought these looked good. I did. I thought they were so nice when I finished this layout. Then I went north showed Tricia my pages, proudly. She then showed me hers-choke...luckily for me she showed me the light. I keep this book buried. I won't get rid of it cos it's still my memories but this is my first scrapbook page. Let's see yours.
This is also my new paper stack-all Chatterbox and all mine. I can't wait to play.

Between you and Shane, I can't keep up with commenting on your blog. Shane: Nice ass shot! Christine: Congrats on the 21.5", that is awesome! Good idea about posting your first page. I will have to review mine and see if I have the guts to do it.
Those really aren't nearly as bad as some first pages. I'll try to remember to scan mine tonight. I did the same thing - used cheesy paper, wrote with markers, cut pictures. But they're good memories so I can't get rid of the albums.
And that's a fantastic stack of Chatterbox! Love me some Chatter!!
Lovin' the Chatter! I think Chatterbox is my favorite paper line. Just ask Mel how much of it I've got! I'll have to find a good page to show. See, the thing abotu me and scrapbooking, is I was doing it without knowing I was doing it. I disliked traditional photo albums because they were so rigid about how you placed your pictures, so I used 12x12 SBs to put my pics how I wanted. Then I added bits of paper and some stickers and bunches of memorabilia. And it wasn't until a while later that I realized that I wsa scrapping. So I'll have to see what I can come up with that epitomizes "first layout".
Me too Chris! I look back at my regular photo albums from high school and I would cut out magazine clippings and place them in ...one of my pages even has a candy box in it. I posted that one because that's when I started "scrapbooking" as I called it then.
Chris' original scrabooks were good ... I've enjoyed going thru them. Wait til you see my original ones - it's from 1989.
And Yes Chris' love for Chatter is a bit out of control. But we all have something.
Gotta say that my first book is horrible! I have a lot to learn...love the paper too!

I tried to scan my first page, but my computer was on the fritz last night (wasn't pretty). I'll try again tonight.
They're posted (ouch!)
